Yes, Montreal had two Bickle-Seagrave 100' steel aerials:
Serial #A8680 was delivered in 1941, a complete J-Model tractor-trailer aerial.
BUT.....
one the other was delivered as an aerial ladder trailer only -- no tractor
. That was #B-2230. I have a Seagrave factory photo of it sitting on the shipping dock in Columbus: no tractor!
Piecing together Walt's and Pierre's info it appears the tractor-less trailer was pulled by the 1934 Seagrave Model 6GF tractor until 1951 when replaced with the GMC tractor.
