It might be for some people.  Grumman was cheaper than everyone back in the early 1990's.  They were low bid everywhere.  By 1993, they were gone.

Interesting thought process. If this were true in all cases Pierce should have been gone considering they were the lowest priced rigs in my region until 3-4 years ago.
