Dallas, they use the same standard chassis on all of their vehicles. We visited the shops in September during the IFBA convention and were shown how standardized the department is. All of the heavy vehicles with the exception of the Hazmat are on the same chassis. This has reduced the parts inventory required by millions of dollars.
