Ladder 36- from the story I got, from a Fort Worth area friend, is that the material used in the frame was a cheaper product than usual, as the company supplying it to Spartan is going out of business. This is the second of 3 mid mount towers (Ladder 19) that have had such issues, and the 3rd was found to have a small crack in the frame. As I was told, both times that this occurred, the trucks were on the apron receiving daily morning checks.
