1986 Darley Ford 750/200/30F
This rig garnered a lot of interest at the time. Mini-pumps typically were equipped with 250 gpm pumps. We needed a much higher capacity for fighting rolling mill fires but also a vehicle that could go inside huge manufacturing buildings. We approached Darley and they agreed to build a prototype using a Ford F-350 chassis with a diesel engine and 750 gpm pump that was not UL listed for fire trucks as they did not have one. It carried 400 ft. of 4 in. The rig performed extremely well for many years.
