West Bradford:
1974 Ward LaFrance Ambassador, canopy cab, 1000/800. This was the first canopy cab ordered by the company, Detroit 6V53, automatic, Wisconsin 3.5 KW generator. It was housed on 9/16/78. It was refurbed, rebodied, and repainted by LTI in 1987. It was repowered with a Cat 3116, 250 HP, in 1989. Transmission blew in early 2000, tough to get parts for. Still in service as of 7/1/06.
Ferndale - orginally Upper Darby #3 (Delaware County, PA)
1975 Ward LaFrance Ambassador/Grove, canopy cab, 100 ft steel tiller. Replaced in 1987 and sold to Ferndale (Anne Arundal County), MD. In 1991 it was sold to New Brunswick (Middlesex County, NJ) to become a reserve piece. Still had in 1999. By 2005, owned by an individual in upstate New York.
