Hey I know this truck! I've worked off of it a few times at the Putnam county fire school. I don't have specs but, the story behind the "fire" paint job is that a local body shop did it for free. It is a free hand work. Hurricane runs 800 series numbers on their rigs. I think this was 814 back in the day. Gas engine, manual tranny 1000/1000, had a dump valve as well. These FMC's were pretty popular in WV. My dept. had one similar to this
And what exactly is a "tactical fire dept.? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
[quote name='mnsand' post='131871' date='Jul 21 2007, 21:44 ']I believe that this engine came from Hurricane, West Virginia (other end of the state) and is a GMC/FMC 1000gpm with serial number 4063. Anyone know a year on this?
