Interesting rig - Don't see many Superior rigs , especially in the southern U.S. Did they get this from a Canadian Department or buy it new?

At the time, Frisco was in need of a dedicated reserve engine.

 

They were an E-One customer at the time and bought it from E-One.  The engine was a demo model.

This piece was actually a build for the 25th Anniversary of Superior Emergency Vehicles (1998) in Red Deer Alberta. It was sold in Aug 2000 to E\-One who sold it to Frisco.
