As you can see in the last pic, the clouds had been getting thicker.  By the time we reached our next stop, it was raining.  Looking at the forecast, nowhere looked good.  We called it a day.  The forecast for Thursday called for rain everywhere in Virginia, so we headed up I-81 until we found some sunshine........... in Maryland!
