It more so resembles the SFI platform Pierce used to about 1991. I'm guessing it was an older Pierce (late 80's/early 90's) that was refurbished with a new Pierce basket and cab in 2001/2002 or a transplant of the SFI boom from an older rig to a new chassis w/ updates around 2001/2002.
Apparently, this one was refurbed early in life, but I have no clue why.

Thanks! After further investigation, it turns out that this platform is a 1983 Ladder Towers, Inc. that was built on a Spartan chassis with Grumman bodywork. The chassis is a 2001 Dash 2001 (#12454) and it was completed, including new bodywork and modifications to the aerial, by the Pierce refurb shop in 2002 (#F-4616). Records have been corrected.
