here are 2 more hahns for you. kingston borough pa engine #2 luzerne county ran this 1974 hahn 1000gpm 500gwt until 1997 when the borough changed vehicles around making this engine 1 and the 1985 hahn that was engine 1 to engine 2. it was at this point engine 1 was primarily used for ems or reserve status. also the volunteer company names ie. columbian or independent were no longer on the apparatus doors. the apparatus was and still is owned maintained and operated by the borough. this hahn went through much pride to its members as they installed the air horns, additional rear discharge ,crosslays, removed booster reels, and prepiped a wagon pipe on it. this engine suffered heavy damage in late 80's when a driver had a fatal heart attack while enroute to a chimney fire. while it was being repaired it had hose bed sides extended to carry more hose,it also had the air pack bags placed on the side where hard tubes are leaving 1 tube on the apparatus, since its rarity to draft in our town.it was retired in 2006 and sold to a local contractor whoplanned on using it to wet down debris while demolishing buildings
