I was told today that the county bought 4 tanker and the other one is going to Round Hill.
Also told the county was going to put a new squad at Leesburg, not sure if they are for certain or not but they are on the grapevine.

Terry,
I have not heard a confirmation about a squad in Leesburg. As you may know, Leesburg operates seperate fire and rescue companies. The Rescue squad operates a heavy squad and Loudoun County now has paid staff at the rescue company for the squad. Squad 13 is a 1992 E-1, so it is getting some age.
The interesting arrival in Leesburg will be the new Seagrave tiller truck this year. It will be equipped with extrication tools. I have been told that once the Seagrave tiller is in service, Leesburg's current rescue engine (1995 E-1 Protector) will be sold. A lot of decisions I believe are still up in the air.
