Frank:
Great photo of the 1960 Mack N/Harwick while in service at Haycock. This rig served Quakertown Fire Co. No.1 until 1976, and had replaced a 1955 Dodge Tanker which had been involved in a fatal MVA on RT. 309. Haycock purchased it from QFC #1 for $7,000.00. I still miss it, as I rode to my first fire call on that rig. It had a Hale 750 gpm pump, a 1,200 gallon tank, Class B protein foam system, 40' Bangor Ladder and 2 inlet portable deluge gun. Not to mention a Federal Q and a Bell! After Haycock in went to a Fire Co. in Tenn. Thank you for sharing! :3_12_21: :Captain:
