Old D-40 is a late 1940's Ward LaFrance, equiped with "Hardie" Guns, made in Philadelphia, PA. While I know Hardie made high pressure fog guns for the military and the fire service from WW II until the 1960's, does anyone know the history behind the Hardie Company and the development of the "Hardie" gun? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/3_12_21.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Captain.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
