Seriously though, the bucket sustained somewhere in the neighborhood of $40,000 worth of damages when they peeled the roof off a BEMS rig that cut them off in front of their quarters. Given the age and cost to repair we decided to scrap it. It's definately NOT down at the Shops (I was down there last week) and it's not at our firehouse. Greenwood is a possibility as Ladder 25 is down there having the cab replaced/repaired.[/quote]
Skip can you define what you mean by 'scrap'. Is the BFD salvaging anything from the rig for parts (if they are needed). Also what is the story with the old Spare Tower. Now i know nothing about the mechanical aspects of fire trucks but was it not pratical to repair one E\-One tower with parts from both?
