Some comments on the Hershey photos. All the B/W photos with captions are copied from my book, "Protecting His Dream"-a short history of the Hershey FD. Although the majority of the photos are mine, some of the photos credited to me in these posts were obtained from various sources when writing the book. These sources are listed in the book's preface. Anyone wanting to view color versions of some of my photos should check FIREWAGONPHOTO.COM.
Post 2614--this steamer was previously incorrectly identified as belonging to Hershey and was on their website at one time. Hershey's only steamer was a smaller size and is currently displayed in the Hershey Museum.
Post 2622--this is the 1984 Ford pictured in post 2623. It was incorrectly identified in this photo from a book on chief's cars. Their first chief's car was the 1979 Malibu (former Derry Twp. police car) obtained in 1981 and shown in post 2621.
