The Strawpump Ford/Howe was basically out of service by the late 90s and was known as Engine 2-3. When Strawpump purchased the Ferrara Rescue/Engine this unit was donated to the Peace Valley Rural Fire District in Missouri. I believe this was in 2000. I still have the article at home. I only saw it outdoors twice: once when I went to take pictures of it and when it came to my fire comapnies parade in 1999.
As for the "cherry picker", I had heard stories they had it, and it even made an apperance at a North Huntingdon Township photo from the late 70s/early 80s, but as for its disposition... I believe my chief at Larimer said it was an old West Penn Power truck, but that doesn't explain the hose troughs going up the boom.
Incidently, Strawpumps' 70s Ford/Homemade Brush was refurbished by Duquesne Light in 2007 and is now painted blue to match the other rigs. Also, the Duplex/E-One may be for sale soon. I am out of the loop on any other rumors <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
