This apparatus was purchased by the B. A. (British American) Oil Company for protection at their Clarkson refinery. Clarkson was a small village that was annexed by Mississauga in 1974. Mississauga Fire acquired this pumper as a Foam rig to supplement the fire protection at two different refineries located within the city.
When retired, this rig was sold to a collector.
This apparatus was featured in the ALF booklet "First Water" - "The History of American LaFrance Builder of Fire Engines since 1832"
