While I was at FESCO Emergency Sales today I shot a couple dreaded inside shots of Leesburg's new TDA. It's an impressive rig and the members there should be proud because they spec'd a nice unit that will serve their area for years to come.
I wasn't able to do much around it as they were applying the lettering and striping as you can see in some of the pics.
Some of the unique features of the unit include an Amkus Ultimate System and assorted hydraulic rescue tools. This unit is going to run as a rescue unit and will be equipped with rescue struts, cribbing and other assorted rescue gear. It has a 30kw Harrison Hydraulic Generator, 100' steel aerial and of course the standard truck company tools.
Hopefully someone from Virginia will shoot the rig after it is delivered to Leesburg.
