Can't say as I agree. I really liked the old Clearwater color scheme when it was new. It's unfortunate that it didn't hold up. It wasn't just the Florida sun either, I found a couple rigs in Michigan with the same faded paint scheme! Besides, if all the fire apparatus were red, it would get pretty boring. I like the multitude of colors and paint schemes we have in the U.S., making our apparatus much more interesting to me than anywhere else in the world. It gives FD's individuality and personality, something I don't see in other countries.
