5 was Alex
6 Was the military
7 was Arlington
Can anyone remember the rest?[/quote]
Fairfax County/Fairfax City were 1-49
Alexandria 50 series
Military 60 series
Arlington 70 series
I think WMAA was also included in the 60 series except for the ARFF units which were numbered differently I think in the 300 series.
I also seem to remember that stations in Loudoun and Prince Williams County close to Fairfax County were given 80 series numbers to identify when responding with Fairfax County.
I vaguely remember that PG County MD in their numbering system assigned numbers to the VA stations in Alexandria and Fairfax County that often responded on the Wilson Bridge.
