Check post #12 on this thread. That pic was shot in Station #29's bay, so obviously it was in reserve status when the shot was taken. The front looks very similar and the AFD logo on the door looks like a sticker over the original logo. I don't know how many Ford/Pirsch's midmounts that AFD had. It appears in the 1975 AFD Yearbook as Truck #26, a 1967. It is the only one of it's kind in the book. (Pic. is on P#233). It is on Co. #29's page, but the pic. is obviously Station #26.
In the 1983 yearbook, there is a Ford that appears as Reserve Truck #21 while they were quartered at #39. (P.#133) This was apparently after the crash of the Mack and the damage to Station #21. I can't tell from the picture if the rig is a midmount or a Ford TDA.
