Thanks Seth, and that's all very interesting...I had heard the "rumor" about Wheeled Coach getting a large FDNY order but was never able to confirm it. According to Fire Apparatus Journal. FDNY has signed a 3 year contract with Wheeled Coach and have placed an order for 56 Dodge Ram 4500's on the year 1 order. They should look pretty different than the present FDNY ems vehicles as there is a rumor that they will be on a 4 door crew cab chassis.
