I am curious because my department had to order 2 toyne's, and I am very scepticial about them? Anybody have anyother input on the toynes who has either worked on them, or have them in there stations.[/quote]
Pittsburgh, like any other major city, is brutally hard on apparatus. No matter what they order/receive, they're gonna beat the crap out of it. It's my understanding that the bodies are holding up well, but there are issues with the chassis.
ff168577, why dont you take a ride over to Bryn Athyn one day and take a look at theirs? I am sure you will be impressed, although it is stainless steel, and if I remember correctly, you ordered aluminum. Did they fix the door height in your one firehouse yet?
