You're right Mike. I was always under the impression that the Essex County spare was the former Boston, Cambridge one - but I recently found out it wasn't. The Chelsea/Cambridge was the former Boston ladder 7 and it did blow its engine on Route 3 north coming back from the Cape one day according to someone with a great memory.
