More info on the Monroeville units
The 67 ALF 900 Monroeville #5 (E-52) had a 750 gallon tank. The Fire Chief there at the time confirmed it. It was sold in 83 to Lincoln VFD (Allegheny County). They placed a canopy cab on the unit and it server there until the late 90's. I believe it was finally scrapped after that.
The 83 ALF Century Monroeville #5 (E-52) was refurbished in 1988 by Kenco where it received at the time the new Monroeville VFD color and stripping scheme. It was sold to Wall VFD (Allegheny County) in 2000 where it serves today as E-287.
The 67 WLF at Monroeville #4 (E-41) had a 500 gallon tank. It was sold to Mt. Pleasant VFD, Hickory (Washington County) in 1981.
The 75 WLF at Monroeville #4 (E-42) was refurbished in 1988 by Kenco where it received the new Monroeville VFD color and stripping scheme. It wa sold to Alpine City, Utah in 1992
The 77 Seagrave at Monroeville #5 (E-51) had a 1500 pump. It was sold to Morrell VFD (Fayette County) in 1988
The 77 Seagrave at Monroeville #1 (E-12) was refurbished in 1988 by Kenco and was painted white and given the new Monroeville color and stripping. It was sold to Whitney-Hostetter VFD (Westmoreland County) in 1993
The 85 ALF at Monroeville #1 (E-11) was refurbished in the mid 90's by New Lexington. The 10 speed transmission was replaced with an automatic and the 2500' LDH hose reel was removed. As stated before it was sold to Munhall VFC #5 in 2005 where it serves as E-204.
Monroeville did have the distinction of having the "last of" from American LaFrance Elmira. The last open cab made (E-52) and the last vehicle made (E-11).
