Loudoun County has recently taken delivery of three new Pierce Dash engines. They will be assigned to Station 4 in Round Hill, Station 10 in Lucketts, and Station 16 in Neersville.
Two of the engines are at the local Pierce dealer (Singer) still getting some work done on them. Engine 610 for Lucketts was at the Training Center this morning having the pump tested. Engine 610 was spraying the burn building with water and some foam. The plans are to have final work done on the engine next week and delivered to Lucketts for crew training.
Engine 610 is a 2008 Pierce Dash 1500/750/50 and carries Pierce job number 19355-02.
