To answer the other question, yes all 26 or 27 of our truck companies are equipped with some form of extrication equipment. Some older trucks may still have Hurst. The rest have Amkus or Holmatro. The rescue trucks just have more of it.
Trucks basically carry a spreader and cutter, a few of them may have a ram or two and one power unit. The rescue companies carry multiple power units, different size spreaders, cutter, combi-tools, air bags, the works.
As far as a dedicated Hazmat vehicle, there is not one. Basic hazmat calls get an engine, a rescue, 1 B/C, and B/C 5.
A full blown hazmat response could initially get a full commercial assignment, a rescue, light water 1, 2 B/C's, B/C 5 (sort) and a Division Chief and go from there.
