GARDEN CITY
1971 Mack CF, canopy cab, 1250/500. In 1985 it was traded in to the Seagraves dealer (FESCO) in Maryland who in turn sold it to Bellevue (Davidson County), TN.
GLENOLDEN
1958 Seagrave 70th Anniv series, semi-cab, 750/300, $19,000, borough paid for, had compartment forward of the rear wheels, buck-eye rota-ray, replaced in 1975.
1963 Seagrave 70th Anniv series,, semi-cab, 750 gpm, $23,000 which the borough paid for, not identical to the 1958 model, shorter wheelbase, replaced in 1990
RUTLEDGE
1969 Ford C-800/Ward LaFrance, canopy tilt-cab, 750/500, new station had to be built to house this, sold to a dealer in Missouri in 1993.
LENNI HEIGHTS
1937 Dodge/Phila. Fire Truck Works, open cab, 400/300, front mount Barton American pump, built in Roslyn, PA in a facility at Easton and Edge Hill Roads by a man named Hall, in 1959 still in service, by 1985 it was a parade piece still owned by the company.
LANSDOWNE
1954 Mack B-85F, full cab, 750/200, replaced the 1928 Autocar, retained by company as an antique.
1966 Seagrave, K-series, semi-cab, 1000/500, housed 8/26/67. Sold in 1995 for $5,000 to Owings Mill (Baltimore County) MD. who was going to use it as a ladder wagon while their ladder was out being refurbed. By 2005, owned by Edmund Schwartz of Hampstead, MD.
COLLINGDALE #1
1970 Hahn 78, Cincinnati canopy cab, 1000/300, model C-10, 6V71 Detroit diesel, automatic, delivered 3-25-70, housed 9/12/70. Purchased by George Kaiser in 09/03 for $5,001.
FELTONVILLE
1971 Ward LaFrance Ambassador, canopy cab, 1000/500, Waukasa gas motor, 5-speed manual transmission, housed 10/21/72, OOS by 5/2000, sold for $1,100 to the Aston Sign Company of Aston (Delaware County) who mounted a large searchlight in the bed.
BROOKHAVEN
1968 Hahn 78, Cincinnati canopy cab, model C-7, delivered 10/6/68, 1000/500, delivered as a 750 GPM, housed 11/68, rehabed by Hahn in 1983 were the pump was upgraded to a 1000 GPM
BON AIR
1971 American LaFrance Metropolitan, canopy cab, 1250 GPM, delivered 8/71, housed 6/3/72, first unit purchased with the RW paint scheme, front suction. Replaced in 1989 and traded in to the Pierce dealer.
1987 Ford C/Bruco, full cab - body removed from the 1971 chassis by Liberty of Bridgeport, 3205 Cat diesel, 5-speed manual transmission, 18 KW Loadstar PTO generator, eight bottle 3200 lb. cascade, and a 12,000 lb. Warn winch. For sale in late 2002. Finally sold in late 2003 to the Ohiopyle-Stewart VFC (Fayette County). I am looking for a shot of this at Ohiopule-Stewart - anybody got one ?
