No, we really had no idea that it was once a Water Chief. We've only known it since it came back to American LaFrance of Los Angeles in Fontana about two years ago now. Prior to that, I had never even seen the truck in service. I certainly would've never thought it had a life as something else other than just an engine.

P.S. - If anyone has pictures of it in its Water Chief form, I'd LOVE to see them.
