Glad to hear they are pure FD again. I visted during the Public Safety Days and wandered around Fire House One for a while. Finely I ran into a Public Safety Officer and he could not tell me anything about the Fire Units. Really sad, we have had a Three Public Safety Departments in the KC area. They are good at Police work but fire and ems always suffer. Two of them returned to Fire and Police Departments. Intresting concept and good cost saver on paper but for safety of personel, public it just does not make sense.
