GFD 1, you are right. According to Harvey Eckart in book: Mack Fire Apparatus, a Pictorial History, there is a picture of the three open cab B - Models, and the caption on the next page states they were delivered to the Hamilton Fire Brigade in 1960. "These were the first Mack diesels to be used in fire apparatus and were of the turbocharged design of 230 horsepower." That was quoted by Mr. Bulldog himself.
