1964 Jeep Pick Up started with the Quakertown Fire Company. At the time The QFC ran 1 Mack CF and 2 Mack R engines.... The Then Chief said "NOTHING WITHOUT A BULLDOG WILL BE IN THIS HOUSE!" Sooooo If you look the Mack Bulldog was ADDED Before it backed in.
Around the Early 1980's the truck was sold off when QFC got a new Ford Pick-Up with slide in pump as a Brush Truck. The new owners - Pattenburg Fire Co - kept the truck Red and also the Bulldog on the hood. I do not know if the Jeep is still around. PFC bought a new brush truck about 2 years ago. (Pattenburg is almost 100% LIME - all but one type 505 Mack)
