For shfd739:
Corpus Christi has run medium duty Internationals, Freightliners, C5500 Chevrolets and more recently F350 Fords and now the 4500 Dodges. I think there was a repair issue with a Ford dealer in Corpus (but don't quote me on that) so they decided to try a couple Dodge 4500s.
The louvered vent on the left rear side of the body is the 110v a/c-heat pump that runs off the shoreline plug for climate control while in the station (sorta like your Frazers but without a generator).
As for Val Verde, they had been in Ford E450s. They tried a Chevrolet G3500 type III a year or so ago and appear to have now gone back to the Ford E450 chassis. The Val Verde medics do a really good job considering they only run 3 to 4 units for the entire City of Del Rio & Val Verde County!!!
