There were nine of these delivered. Original assignments were: Engines 2, 8, 16, 27, 30, 31, 43, 44, and 50. At that time Engines 8, 31, 43, and 50 were two piece companies. For Engines 8, 31, and 50 this piece ran as the wagon and for Engine 43 it ran as the pumper.
The engine in this photo, PP #70444, was assigned to Engine 43 when new. It then went to Engines 19, 28, and 33 in that order.
