The main reason for the different color scheme is that the "FAA" green, on their color palett is a little more yellow. The crash rigs always came in a "standard" FAA green, so as some of the structural rigs were getting replaced, they decided to have them stripped like the crash rigs. The Airport Chief at the time we were replacing the crash rigs decided on the red stripe and seemed to like the look better.
The only Airport truck currently in the color scheme consistant with the rest of the fire department is Rescue 12. However they are being replaced soon with a Braun Rescue on a Furion chassis and should be in the "Airport's" color scheme.
