Actually is it a MIDI not a mini. It has a 1000 gpm, pump 4 wheel drive and was designed to get into areas that the larger Quints, Pumpers could not get to during snow or ice conditions. Plus some properties have narrow gates at their drive ways, being built years back when we ran smaller hose wagons and could get into the driveways. This rig is in an area the has a lot of these properties and the folks don't want to or will not alter the entrances. Some folks have, but there others that still live like they did back in the 1940's and 1950's. It will also run EMS and other calls that do not require a Quint apparatus.
