There are 3 quints in service in the city. Quints 18, 27 and 23. When dispatched they are referred to as "Engines". These came into service in a reorganization back in 1992. All three houses had engines and trucks. But 18, 23, and 27 had the trucks eliminated and were converted to quints. The city at that time bought 4 American LaFrance 75' quints. One for each, and one held in reserve. They were just replaced by the Pierce's that Shoop just shot.
