Otherwise I have a question - is the Broward hazmat unit still housed at Station 23 in Broadview Park area? Or did 23 get a new station elsewhere? I thought the new stations were 106, 32 and 17...
And another - do you know if Lake Forest VFD is still around and if so, where it is physically located?[/quote]
srq2009,
Correct, BSFR opened four new stations...
Station-17 Hazardous Materials
Station-27 Pembroke Park/West Park
Station-32 Technical Rescue
Station-106 Alligator Alley
Currently Station-23 is closed due to mold problems; E23 & HM23 are split up for now. E23 runs out of Davie Station-104 (Oaks Rd & 441) while HM23 runs out of their new Station-17... why they haven't renumbered them beats me, I'm still trying to figure that out.
As to Lake Forest VFD it no longer exists.
