To answer your question on any information on the builder "General Fire". With consulting the "Illustraed Encyclopedia of American Fire Engine Manufacturers" by Walter M. P. McCall, shows the following entry : General Fire Equipment Company - Spokane, Washington (1957-Current). They are a Rosenbauer American dealer. They build wildland and skid type fire apparatus on commercial chassis.
