I shot this in 1988, at the Navy Yard. I think it was a Fire Tec? The logo is on the side, but I can not read it. A 1973 GMC hose wagon. I held 5000'of 5" hose. Before I was hired, I was at the Philadelphia Muster, The trailer was pumping to the wagon's Stang gun, and the Fire fighter lost control of it. The stream hit the Chief (in uniform) and knocked his hat into the Delaware River. He was not happy!
Now thats a funny story! I wonder what happened to the firefighter in charge of the deck gun.[/quote]
I don't rember who it was, I did not work for them for another few years.
The Chief of the PNSY FD and the Volunteer company I ran with at that time were brothers! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />
But, those Stang guns are tricky to work sometimes!
I found two of these photos at the SPAAMFAA arcive in Hershey. PNSY Buffalo factory photos
