Sterling/New Lexington Tanker
Upper Burrell Fire Department
Allegheny County
[/quote]
The tank and body originally were on a Louisville Ford. That chassis had a tank only on it. It was sent to New Lexington and they mounted a pump, new tank and body on it 1989-1991, somewhere in that period. Then it was sent back to New Lexington to be re-chassised with the current Sterling chassis. This is still in service.
