Gary, you are right. That is Somerville's Mack. The history is it started as Engine 1. Served there until replaced with a Mack C model. It then became the spare rig "Engine 2". In the mid to late 70's it was modified with a 4 bottle casscade system in the bottom of the hose bed, and carried Foam Cans - this is when it became "ENGINE 5". Until the "NEW" Engine 2 came in. At that time the rig was taken back by Engine Company and they went ahead with restoring the rig. I have heard it cost close to $100,000.00.
