No problem, Wagonman. I'm glad that you're interested! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
This is a real trip down memory lane for me! Here's a shot that represents what I remember of the fleet operated by Point Pleasant Boro, NJ VFC # 2 when I was about 8 years old (I'm 53 now!). This image shows our first new rig in the center being our 1957 Ward LaFrance pumper. To it's right is a military style ambulance the FC operated as a utility vehicle. To the Ward's left is a 1942 Chevrolet 4x4 x-military hp/300 gpm pumper. This shot was taken prior to 1964 when the FC bought a 1964 Ford C/H&H pumper that replaced the 1942 Chevy. Also, the Ward LaFrance still had it's original siren. This was later replaced by a Federal Q. Bill Schwartz neg/Mattson Collection <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/usa.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
