Newington, NH 33-A-1, 2004 Ford E-450 / MedTec PD-168. Went in service August of 2004. This rig was dedicated in the spring of 2005 in memeory of Newington Fire & Rescue Lieut. / EMT-P Christopher DeWolf who was killed in the line of duty responding to a call in January of 2005. Some of you fire guys may have either known Chris from working with him here in NH, or from his work with FETN.
This is a close-up of the cartoon charecter painted on the officer's side of the box. Chris's nickname was "Chumley", and with his goofy grin and his mustache he looked just like the walrus from the old Tennesee Tuxedo cartoon.
Both pics by me.
