As an update to the 135' roster......
The Galveston 135' was sold to Jamaica Beach Volunteer Fire Department, located on the west end of Galveston Island, a few years back. It was sold for $1 with the agreement that if it is needed then Jamiaca Beach will respond into the city with it.
When Hurricane Ike came thru last year and severly damaged both Galveston Island and the City of Galveston, this rig was one of the ones saved by relocating it inland ahead of the storm and promtly returned to service immediately afterwards.
Jamiaca Beach put a few bucks into it to get it up to speed when they obtained it, mainly involving hydraulic system repairs/improvements.
Hope this helps.
