Christopher Company built rescue trucks for Washington Fire Co Conshohocken,PA Montgomery County
and Oakmont (Haverford) Delaware county
Any one here of this company? I never did! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/shrug.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
There is a nice history of the Chistopher Company at the following website:
http://www.coachbuilt.com/bui/c/christopher/christopher.htm
According to that information "Only a single Christopher-bodied vehicle, a 1964 GMC rescue truck, is known to exist."
Does anyone know where that 1964 GMC is and what it looks like? Photo?
Good find, thanks for posting Frank!
