Thanks to Tom Shand's meticulous record keeping, and the generosity of some PG county buffs, I can post some older photos.





First, a picture of the rig as delivered. Ran in this fashion from 1972 to 1982:







In 1982, the PG County shops refurbished the rig, resulting in a new paint scheme along with some other additions:







Then, 10 years later, LHVFD sent it to Delmarva, who's Beaverbilt section rebuilt the rig ground-up. This included:

• New stainless steel body
  
  
• Lengthened the frame approximately 14"
  
  
• Enclosed the cab in a LFD fashion
  
  
• Installed a new automatic transmission
  
  
• Rebuilt the 237HP motor
  
  
• Rebuilt the 1000 GPM Waterous 2-stage pump
  
  
• Added the vertical exhaust stacks
  
  
• Added additional flood lights
  
  
• Added the strobes to the body and cab sides
  
  
• Added air conditioning
