They were only suppose to shoot out into the Malls parking lot for a short time. The developer who was suppose to be building the KC Wizards Stadium, as well as a large complex for Cerner and retail shops in that parking lot has stopped working due to no one interested in building at that location. The latest is both KC Wizards and Cerner are moving to the Kansas side out in Village West in Kansas City, KS near the race track. Whats suppose to be the front of 41s house was going to be a round - about for them to come out on. Many shops in the Hillcrest area are vacant, so Im thinking they will continue to come out into a large open parking lot for a while. The city is trying to revitalize the Hillcrest area just picked a bad time to do it.

I agree, When 41's was finished the city found the funds had not been alocated for the round a bout. Woop's on their part. My buddy on 8 Truck does not see it happening any time soon.
Funny Story after the first hard rain storm the dirt around the front bays washed into the appratus room. So the city brought mulch out and placed it around the outside of the fire house. Next shift they had every kind of bug crawing in the fire house. They called PW and found out the mulch was from wood that was ground up from Hurrican Katrina. Full of nasty bugs. So then they sprayed and the saga was over. Funny stuff Big City Style.
