That must have been several years ago. That old TDA was sold to Westfield, NY after being in an MVA. The entire aerial (turntable, hydraulics and all) were remounted onto Westfield's ALF service aerial. I photographed the finished product at least three years ago and that was a year or so after it had been rebuilt.
There have been some changes to the Erie FD. Engines 6 and 12 have swapped quarters and the crew of Engine 12 cross-mans Tower 1 out of the South Central station. This prevented the closing of the house on the northwest corner of the city. Engines 6 (SW) and 8 (NE) are rescue pumpers. Tower 2 is now the only fully-staffed truck company in town.
